NYRR Dash to the Fish Line: Uniting the World on ING NYC Marathon Eve (Photo Essay)

- By Krystal Davis

The ING NYC Marathon is the world's premier race event, uniting people across the globe for a 26.2 mile trek across the five boroughs of New York City.

In the eve of this great race ING marathon participants, their families, friends and other runners got to enjoy a 5K (3.1 mile) dash starting at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, near the United Nations and ending at the ING Marathon finish line in Central Park.

It drew runners young and old. Novices and pros. Men. Women. Boys. Girls. Earthlings mostly. And, many hmmm's.
